Mac 'Faux' Lipstick | Mini Review

I think it's pretty safe to say that every girl loves to buy a new lipstick. What's even better? A new MAC lipstick. In my eyes, nothing else quite compares to MAC when it comes to their lipsticks and glosses. The quality is just so damn good. I recently got a whole load of MAC lipsticks brought back for me when my brother visited California on holiday. I sent him away with a little list of some MAC goodies that I had my eye on and Faux lipstick was one of them.

Faux is the ultimate PERFECT lip colour for me. It matches my skintone so well and really manages to bring out the blue in my eyes for some reason. Some would argue that Faux is a nude but I would class it as more of a pink to mauve toned shade. The finish of the lipstick is a Satin, which is also my favourite type of finish by MAC. A creamy formula that doesn't dry and settle into the lines on your lips, yet also lasting for a long time (about 5 hours give or take). Not quite matte but with a very subtle sheen. The colour payoff and vibrancy of this shade is so amazing that even my camera can't quite pick up how fab it really is!
